SASA & Nanhi Kali Cultural Night - Deepavali 2014

Syracuse University celebrated Cultural Night - Deepavali on SATURDAY October 25th. Deepavali as we all know has been one of the most prominent festivals in India and is celebrated by various groups across a number of cultures. The event witnessed full house participation as all the 300 tickets were sold out. This was third consecutive year, that the Diwali event was a huge success. The event started off with the traditional GORGEOUS PUJA i.e. offerings to God. It was followed by SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCES by several Syracuse Universities talented Students. There was a band entertaining the audience with soulful songs, followed by various dance performances by Students gyrating to Indian songs and a tradition classical dance performance.

Delicious Indian food was served and alongside there was a DJ playing Indian music for the students burning the dance floor. Another attraction was the photo booth, where everyone fleeted to take awesome pictures with friends.
